Is there a Skip The Line aspect to the Brunelleschi Pass? Where and how do you enter the Duomo with it? Thanks!
The tickets are timed, so you enter at the time you selected when purchasing your ticket. I recommend getting in line 15 minutes or so in advance of your time. When it's your appointed time you might have to go around people who are in line too early. Enter on the north side of the cathedral (the ticket includes instructions and a map). For the campanile, you can enter at any time with the Brunelleschi Pass.
Hello rickrack,
Your pass is timed for the tower climb so don't miss that appointment. After that you can do the Duomo itself, Santa Reparata (under the Duomo), the Baptistry (just outside the Duomo) and newish Duomo Museum (behind the Duomo) during the next three days whenever you feel like it.
Access to the Duomo itself is free - it is a working church - but people with tickets get preference for being let in over the people without tickets and I believe it is only so many people at a time. There will be signage - it was to the north side when we visited in 2022 - but the Duomo seems to be under constant restoration so it may change. We showed up early and walked in right as they opened. I would just avoid the busiest times of the day and Monday if you can but the line is the line. Also even in places with timed entry or "skip the line" there's still a security line so it's not like you get to breeze in.
Don't miss the Duomo museum - it's great. Just keep going up...
Hope that helps, have a great trip,
=Tod
Are the tickets just for the tower? Or do you need one for the museum?
