Going to have a few 3-4 hrs before a flight of Milan. Is that enough time to see the Duomo and painting?
Do you already have tickets to view the Last Supper?
Are you flying out of Bergamo or Linate?
Where are you arriving in Milan--which airport? which train station? At what time of day? From which airport are you departing? What's the departure time of the flight? What's the destination of the outbound flight? Those facts could matter a great deal. For instance, if you're flying from Milan back to the US or Canada, the typical advice would be to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours early, and Malpensa Airport is a very long way from downtown Milan.
The Duomo and The Last Supper are over a mile apart. Google Maps indicates taking the Metro or a tram would probably be a bit faster than walking, but that doesn't include the time necessary to buy your transit tickets.
It's extremely hard to obtain The Last Supper tickets directly from the source; reports indicate they sell out almost immediately. US visitors get up in the middle of the night to buy them. Many people end up having to take a marked-up tour that includes The Last Supper.
When will you be in Milan? We have seen “The Last Supper” twice and purchased our tickets many months in advance.
Since you have so little time, you could first just look at the exterior of the Duomo and then go straight up onto the roof (small fee for this) --- save the interior for last or even save it for another trip to Milan. The roof was definitely our favorite part.
Need a far better understanding of your time line to give an appropriate answer. BUT making lots of assumptions based on extremely limited information, the answer is ----- ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!
Even the roof of the Duomo may not be available, depending on when this visit is to be. There are timed tickets.
To Malpensa from city center will take you nearly 90 minutes to reach the airport. Linate, maybe 25 minutes at most. 3-4 hours, I'd just camp out at the airport.
Marc, the Malpensa Express train takes under an hour - 51 minutes - from Centrale to Malpensa T1. Even the Malpensa Shuttle bus from Centrale only takes an hour. that said, I'd agree that there isn't time for the Last Supper and the cathedral, and you're unlikely to land last-minute L.S. tickets anyway, although never say never.
Heed the strike notice for Oct. 21 if planning to fly tomorrow.

I assumed the OP meant they had 3 or 4 hours before having to leave for the airport (because that's how I would be thinking about the timing), but re-reading the question I'm now guessing not.
Right, Nancy. It's hard to tell exactly how much time they have before having to be AT the airport. It would helpful if the OP would answer some of the other questions too?
