Driving Venmice to Como

Im driving Venice to Lake Como.We are thinking of stopping in Padua but note that Steves doesnt talk about parking in Padua.Does anyone know if parking is available and where? we have seen Veronna briefly.Does anyone have a better place to stop for a few hours enroute.Thank you

There is some limited parking around the Basilica of St Anthony in Padua. You may have to circle around but eventally you will find something.And if off season even easier. A good cple of hr stop.
