Driving to Italy's Hill Towns

Are Italy's hilltown roads ever icy or dangerous to travel on because of the weather in March? What about parking in the hilltowns?

We were in Cortona in Tuscany in March 2007 and it snowed while we were there. The snow melted pretty quickly and the roads were fine. It was beautiful and I am glad that I got to see Cortona in the snow.
