I am trying to figure out the best way to drive from Salerno to both Calabria and Puglia. I will be spending at least two weeks in these areas. I am trying to plan a trip that drives the coastal route of both areas that makes sense without backtracking. From there I will be heading north to Pesaro. I appreciate any ideas you might have!

Have you pinpointed any stops yet?
I travel a bit more slower/concentrated--I think it might be tight time-wise going deep into Calabria, so I would look at something like: Salerno-Pisciotta-Maratea-Diamante-Matera-loop through Puglia-north to Pesaro.
Did you mean Pescara? If you mean Pesaro, your time is definitely tight.
