Driving in Ragusa

We're hoping to visit/drive to Ragusa and planned to stay 2 nights. Watching videos of driving in Ragusa is intimidating.

I've read that there is parking outside Ragusa Ilba and one can walk into that part of town.
Questions:
Any recommendations for a B&B or small hotel within 10 minute walking distance of that parking area?
Is Ragusa worth more than 1 full day?
Any thoughts for staying in another town with bus or train access to Ragusa? e.g. Modica?

I stayed at Sabbinirica in Ragusa Ibla. It was delightful, with narrow, winding stairs to many rooms. My Classic Room had a lovely view from its tiny balcony of the Santa Domenica valley.

"The old building dates back to the 18th century even if most likely the basements predate the earthquake of the 1693. The structure consists of six comfortable and charming rooms arranged on three levels and also includes an unique holiday house."

There is a free parking lot a 7 min / 400m walk from the property. We contacted the hosts on our arrival and they drove to pick us up with our luggage and bring us onsite. Without luggage it is a short walk that includes a steep stairway.

Here are walking directions from the parking lot to Sabbinirica.

Ragusa Ibla does have ZTLs (limited driving zones) and it is easy to get turned around and find yourself in one. There is no reason to use the car while you're in Ragusa, so best to just use the free lot and come and go from there if you're taking any day trips.

We spent two nights at San Giorgio Palace Hotel, located on the south edge of Ragusa Ibla, last September. Parking is free along the street just below the hotel entrance. It’s a short stroll from the hotel to anywhere in Ragusa Ibla. Make sure to watch the sunset glow on Ragusa Ibla from the terrace at Ciesa di Santa Maria delle Scale. Absolutely gorgeous!
