Driving from Rome airport

Is it difficult driving out of the Rome airport to Orvieto then on to Chuisi where we will be picked up by our hotel transfer to Montepulciano. We have driven all over Italy, but not out of the Rome airport.

It's not difficult. It's just very busy and you have to be quick with numerous lane changes and exits. I suggest mapping out your route ahead of time - street view it with google maps just to be sure. An accident at the start of a vacation is no fun!
