Driver in tuscany

Any one know of a driver for the Tuscany area? We are 4 women who want a base and day trips. Also.......advise on where/how to rent a villa preferably in a town and not country side?

I can't help you with a driver, but a good place to start looking at villas is https://www.parkervillas.com. They offer a little more hand-holding than the typical company, and if something goes awry, they are good for stepping in with solutions. I rented my first villa in 2005, for 14 people, and I had no idea what I was doing. That rental with Parker Villas went flawlessly. Since then I've rented from VRBO, HomeAway, and AirBnB, and all have been good, and probably a little less expensive than Parker Villas, but it's hard to put a dollar value on peace of mind, especially when you feel the happiness of three friends is riding on your decision.

Driving in rural Italy isn't that difficult if you have one good driver with steel nerves, a calm navigator to ride shotgun, and a good GPS, but you know your group best, and I'll stop short of recommending that option. I do know a good guide in Sienna who arranges wine and cheese day trips if that's an interest. PM me if you want to know more.

Look at a Villa and apartment agency for rentals, Chianti and More in Panzano. Rentals are in Chianti region and Florence and properties are only listed with this agency unlike most others.
