Driver and car from Lucca to Cinque Terre in September

We are in our mid-70's and want to find a reasonable car and driver service from Lucca (where we will be finishing with our cooking class) and on to Cinque Terre. We had originally thought we would take the train, but are concerned about having to cart and load luggage.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reputable and reasonable transportation service (car and driver)?

We drove down to Monterosso, parked and our hotel sent a car to bring us up to their property. I am not sure how close you can get to the other villages by car. A local train goes between the villages as do water taxis, except for Corniglia which is up a cliff.

Perhaps ask the cooking class people for a suggestion, or your lodging host/manager?

Another thought from a 72-year old, pack so that you can each manage your luggage on your own anywhere, including on the train.

I suggest the train. There is a train that leaves Lucca at 9.28 and changes twice before getting to Vernazza (middle of the Cinque Terre) and where we chose to stay. There is an early train and later ones. I think it would be a lot cheaper than hiring a driver.
