Hello All,
We're renting an Apartment in Fiumelatte (Varenna)for a week.
There is of course so much to see and do at Lago di Como. However, the thought did occur that it would be nice to show my family Grindelwald Switzerland.
So, the question I have is--
Has anyone driven there from Varenna (we'll have a car) or has traveled there by train?
What has been your experience?
I last visited Grindelwald 30 years ago, as a long haired backpacking American college student. I would love to take my family there.

It's 6 to 6.5 hrs by train; 4.5 hours plus stops (add for all stops) by car.
