Drive from Sicily to Puglia along southern coast - suggestions?

We’re planning our return visit to southern Italy for next March and April.
We have not yet explored the southernmost ‘sole of the boot’ - along the coast of Calabria and Basilicata - heading toward Puglia.

We will be leaving Sicily, in time to arrive in Puglia just in time before Easter Friday.
From Villa San Giovanni (ferry) - bypassing Reggio Calabria on the E90 - we’re planning on staying on the E90 all the way to Taranto.

Again, we could easily spend a couple of nights along this coastal route.
Points of interest that have already caught my eye along this route are in Monasterace, the ruins at Rocceleta (near Catanzaro), the Museum of Siritide in Policoro, and the Temple of Hera in Metapondo - most of these would brief visits on the way…

Any other stops, villages, sites, that we could include in our transit route? (We already have Puglia nailed, as we’ve been there before…but I will post a separate question regarding Easter time.)
Thank you in advance for your thoughts and suggestions!
