dPLF requirement

So I planned a trip to Germany next month awhile back, but very recently made a change in my itinerary to include a quick visit to Italy for 3 days. I understand Italy changed the requirement for a dPLF awhile back. Just wanted to confirm that this is still the case that one is no longer needed upon arrival?

Thanks. The airline websites confirm the same. Since it was a spur of the moment change and it's coming up soon, just wanted to double-check!
