double checking on voltage

Hello all,

First time traveling to Italy (only going to Rome) and was just double checking to make sure the 2 essential chargers I bring will work there. I already have a set of plug ADAPTERS. I have taken pictures of them and posted them to my twitter (links below). Any help would be great! Thanks!

I can't read the photos, but it doesn't really matter. The charger is the key. Just look on it and if it says something like "Input: 110-240V, 50-60Hz" you are fine. 99% will say that.

noah,

One of the pictures was not entirely clear, but if I'm reading correctly both chargers indicate an Input Voltage of 100-240VAC, 50/60 Hz, so they will work fine in Europe with only Plug Adaptors.

What type of Plug Adaptors are you taking? I'm assuming the plugs for both the laptop and camera chargers are two-pin, or does the laptop also have a ground pin?

Happy travels!

Maureen,

Most power cords and extension cords in the U.S. have either a two-pin plug (two flat plates actually) or a three-pin plug. The three pin plug has the two flat plates as well as a third round pin. The round pin is the ground pin. (I didn't set out to make that rhyme.)
