I saw this last week! I hadn’t gotten tickets, but during my wandering one day in the rain, I realized I was right in front of the museum. I walked in, got a ticket and was practically the only person there. I was so up close and personal that I could see the tiny wrinkles in the hands etc. I’m not a huge art fan, but I do recognize how fortunate I was to see so many famous works of art in person.

Ahh! We'll be in Florence at the end of May!! Thank you for posting this, going to buy our tickets now!

I also love that the exhibit is going to the V&A when it's done in Florence. The V&A is one of my all time favorite museums anywhere, and I love that the exhibit will be given a permanent home in a FREE museum :)
