Is it possible to visit the Domus Aurea in Rome without taking the Educational Tour? If so, how do we purchase the tickets, because the website only has tickets for the tour. Can we purchase entrance tickets directly at Domus Aurea?

When we were there last year, the only way in was with a guided tour.
Here is the website: https://colosseo.it/en/tickets/domus-aurea/. I see an option for just purchasing tickets with no tour - you can choose 1pm or 5pm for this.
However- this option also skips the virtual reality part of the tour. I loved this part and would suggest you consider buying the full entry option.
Buy your tickets well in advance - spots are very limited and sell out.
