I am going to Rome in March and want to pre-purchase tickets to see the Domus Aurea. All I am finding are guided tours such as Viatour. I don't really know very much about the official ticket to the Domus, but I would think that it would already include a tour since it is an active archaeological site. Could anyone point me in the right direction for the official Domus Auurea website. Thank you.
You are correct that the admission ticket includes a tour. Here’s a link to the official Domus Aurea website. Note that they are open to the public only on weekends. They have a few English language tours. https://www.coopculture.it/en/heritage.cfm?id=51#
Francine, this is the official website (below). Mandatory reservations are for a tour as it's the only way to see the excavation.
Open for tours only on Saturdays and Sundays, and it appears that tickets are not yet available for 2019 so I'd check back every few days or so.

Editing to add: Patricia, we were typing at the same time.... :O)
Thank you, to both of you. This helps a lot. Francine
