We are planning on visiting the Dolomites and Castelrotto about June 5-8. Is this too early to drive through the passes and hike the Alpe de Siusi?

Hi Daryl - just saw your post, we went at the end of May last year and the passes were fine even though there was a fair bit of snow around. We went with Collett's Mountain Holidays (www.colletts.co.uk) and they told us that the roads were kept clear as a matter of course throughout the year and even in the winter we found driving fine. We had a great time but were more in the Central Dolomites slightly further east than the Alpe di Siusi.
