Dolomites with Lakes for Swimming

Hello,
We would like to explore the Dolomites in July and have a swimming option in a lake(s) (wild swimming is ok).

Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

There is a little lake we walk to every year, Laghetto di Fie, between Bolzano and Ortisei. We walk there from the base of the Cabinovia Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm Bahn but there is a bus stop not too far away and you can also drive in. There is swimming area that we have observed to be quite busy in July.

Editing to note this lake does appear in the fine list Lola linked to.

If you are going to be in Val Pusteria near Tre Cime di Lavaredo, consider a dip in Lago di Landro. It's a relatively shallow lake making it one of the warmest in the Dolomites. Here's how to visit: https://throneandvine.com/lago-di-landro-durrensee/. Even if you do not end up swimming it is a beautiful destination worth a quick stop. Another option is Lago di Caldaro along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. It is the warmest lake in the Alps although it is not technically in the Dolomites.
