Dolomites, Lakes, or Cinque Terre at Christmas in Italy?

Dolomites, Lakes, or Cinque Terre at Christmas in Italy?

I don't know where to spend the Holidays in Italy? On December 16, I have to leave Bergamo, and I can go one of three directions, all leading to different parts of Italy. Eventually I will see most of it, but it's where to go first, and specifically where to go during late December I'm concerned with.

After Bergamo, I can head

1) South to the Liguria coast, Cinque Terre, and up to Genoa
2) East to Brescia, Lake Garda, and up the Dolomite Alps to Trentino/Alto Adige, and on to Belluno before turning around (note: I don't like skiing, thought I love scenic photography)
3) West to Lecco, Como, Maggiore lake district

There you have it, three clear options. So where would you go first, and why? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Note: The two destinations that don't get picked will be seen in January.

The exact same post you made on the Fodor's board caused much amusement there as they have good reason to doubt your sincerity, due to many, many previous posts recently looking for info on travel to S. America, the Middle East, etc. I think you have been outed. Find another hobby and get a life while you're at it.

Also, under your Fodor screen name, you have a post entitled "A strange thing happened to me at Oslo airport" which I urge people to read on the Fodor Europe board. Rick Steves posters will then see after reading the many (hundreds) of responses, that this poster is knave and a fool.

I enjoyed the Fodor posts where he was asking about buying viagra or about becoming a male model when he was in Asia. His posts go back about 3 years. He has also traveled extensively in the States. Don't ask me why I spent all this time reading them, but he really has his own agenda and argues with everyone who gives advice.
