Has anyone been to dolomites in April before? We know it is in between seasons door that area, but just curious if much is open.

In our favorite area, the Val Gardenia, the lifts don't even begin to re-open until late May and early June, so you cannot get up to the high areas for hiking. If you are satisfied driving thru the passes, staying in the valleys, I imagine you will find hotels and restaurants happy to serve you.
