My wife and I are going to Cortina d'Ampezzo in September and would like to do some hiking. We will not have a car, and plan to get around by train and bus. I have been having difficulty getting information on the availability of buses to hiking destinations in the Dolomites (e.g., Rifugio Auronzo). Emails to the local tourist office and DolomitBus have gone unanswered, and the latter's website is very difficult to use if you are not familiar with the area. Has anyone who has been to the Dolomites recently have any information to share. Thank you.
