Dolomites driving direction - need advice

I have 2 days in the Dolomites. I land at Venice at 5pm on Day 0, and thinking of driving up to Belluno and stay overnight. The plan is then to make my way to see Val di Fune (as I love all the photo that I have seen) and stay overnight, then drive back to Venice. My route is below.

Venice - Belluno - Alleghe - Arabba - Val de Gardena - Val di Funes - Badia Alta - Passo Falzarego - Cortina - Venice.

Is this a good route to take? I may be able to expand this into 3 days.

If I were you, I'd drive a little further north to spend the first night in Cortina D'Ampezzo. Hotel rates are higher but the scenery is waaaay more dramatic.

Hi,

If you can stay just one night, stay in the Alta Badia. Best scenery in the Dolomites in my opinion. If you have 2 nights, stay both nights in the Alta Badia and drive some of the spectacular Dolomite passes. Based in Alta Badia you can EASILY drive the Giau, Gardena, Sella, Pordoi, Campolongo and Falzargeo passes. If you can drive just one, try to make it the Gardena Pass. If not, the Giau is great also, especially near the top. Have a look at our photos from our 10/03, 10/06 and 9/09 Dolomite stays.
