Hello! Im not a skiier, but i love the mountains and would love to go to a town in the dolomites in early december. Im thinking ortesei... does anyone have reccomendations on where to spend 2 days if they dont ski? Possibly with some walking trails/hiking that would be open, or markets?

I was their at that time a few years ago. There was very little snow in the Alpe di Siusi, so there was some hiking there. That will depend on how much early snow they get. Ortisei itself has a Christmas market in the center and beautiful lighting displays set up in the middle of the creek. Bolzano has a big Christmas market in the Piazza Walther.
