More questions.... 1. Dolomites and Lake Braies ; Lodging recommendations? Especially anything under $200/ night.
We fly into Venice and will only be there for 2 nights. Recommendations for a hotel that is easy to get to or has a shuttle service?

Hi. What time of year. We loved our stays in Alta Badia at the Ciasa Montanara in La Villa. The drive is a mostly spectacular three hour drive.

As for Lake Braies: any reason why you specifically chose it? It is beautiful for sure, but there is little to do there, there is just a hiking path around the lake and that's it if I remember correctly. Areas such as Cortina (nearest Venice), Alta Badia or Alpe di Siusi are more varied.
