We have been in Val Gardena the past two Septembers. Even late in the month—Sept. 25-29—the lifts were all open.

Hi,
Yes, ski lifts will be open.
Check weather conditions in the morning, as some might be closed due to a strong winds, but it's not happening very often.

Where are you going, exactly? The Dolomites encompasses a large area.

If you are going to other areas - Val Badia, Cortina, the Sesto Dolomiti - you should check out the specific info for that area.
