dolomite question

We are in La Villa. We drove over Gardena pass today as far as Casselrotto and back to La Villa. Tomorrow we leave and head to Lake Garda. Which route is best? The same route or different. It was spectacular scenery and we love it here.
Thanks
Claire

Might as well go through Arabba and the Pordoi Pass and on through Canazei, Moena, and Predazzo. You'll drop into the Adige Valley below Bolzano. More scenery, equally spectacular.

Hi Claire,

We love staying in La Villa also! Are you at the Montanara?

I agree with the above.
From Colfosco you have a choice:
Head over the Gardena Pass BUT then head over the Sella Pass to Canazei, Moena and so on.
Head over the Campolongo Pass to Arabba, Pordoi Pass to Canazei, Moena and so on.

Tough choice, but neither is a bad one!

FYI:

At Pozza di Fassa (before Moena), you may consider heading towards Bolzano via the Val d'Ega/Eggental, Costalunga Pass and Lake Carezza.
