We will be in Venice Mon/Tues/Wed mid Sept Do we need to book this tour ahead or can we do it when we arrive?

Last Sept I booked ahead and they were filling when I did so. If it's important to you, I'd book it.

I tried to reserve a secret itineraries ticket after arriving in Venice in mid-September last year and there were none available. I'd suggest booking ahead to ensure you get secret itineraries tickets. Tickets for the standard itinerary were available on a walk-up basis.

My daughter and I took this in 2010. I would highly recommend. I underetand they only have a couple English tours a day and you really should book ahead. I booked and paid for on line and just went to the head of the line to pick up my ticket. The entire experience was very easy.
