I am trying to get tickets for Doges and am finding it a little difficult.
1) we would just like the Doges entrance and NOT the secret itinerary or any additional things. What i keep looking at for those is the "St Marks Square Museum Tickets'. Is that correct?
2) i also saw something on the page for students that it is discounted. Am i reading that correctly and its NOT just EU students?
3) soemone has told me you cannot book out until 30 days before.
These are the last tickets for my trip in June i need to book and i want to SO badly just get it done!
- That's the correct ticket: https://palazzoducale.visitmuve.it/en/pianifica-la-tua-visita/tickets/ (first on the list)
- Yes, you are. You'll need student identification. It mentions the ISIC specifically, but they might accept a school ID; I don't know for sure; I purchased discounted tickets for my student group a few weeks ago and I'm required to have a letter on official letterhead signed by my provost, so I can't say for sure whether they would accept a student ID (besides the ISIC) from you
- Currently, tickets are available through June 30
OK, I see the issue. It does switch to partial Italian for the types of tickets, but it is not difficult to understand. I will try to help. And most of the page is till in English.

If you only want the Doges Palace, it is “Palazzo Ducale in exclusiva”. But they will only let you book that type through May—the calendar will not advance. And the available dates in May are €31, because you are not booking 30+days in advance.
However, if you choose the combined ticket, “Musei di San Marco e Palazzo Ducale”, then you can advance the calendar into June for for the whole month. “Singolo” tickets are regular adult tickets for €26 if after June 11 (more than 30:days ahead). Earlier in June the price is €31. Lots of tickets available for all a June dates and most times of the day.
Other ticket types are “Ragazzi” ( kids from 6-14) and “Studenti” for students 15-26, with student ID.
Choose the time you want and the number of tickets of each type and proceed. Subsequent pages will still be mostly in English, so it should be OK.
Bottom line: there is no Doges Palace only ticket you can buy now for June, and even if there were there would be no price advantage. So go ahead and get the “combined ticket”; you may want to stop in and see the Museo Correr and/or the Archeological Museum anyway (althoughI seem to recall we could not find the latter).
