Does Rapid test results need QR code?

I read on another forum that our Covid rapid test results do not need a QRC (QR code). But I am paranoid and would like to see it on an official Italian document.

Our plan is to go to Walgreens and get a rapid covid test, but I saw where Walgreens has a disclaimer that their test results do not have a QR code.

Has anybody recently entered FCO with test results that do no have a QRC?
Thank you,
Riley Fox

p.s. our vaccine cards do have QR codes

I entered Turin, Italy by way of Paris. No one asked for any Covid test, just my CDC card. My rapid antigen test results were a signed paper document (no QR code at all).

No need to worry about getting thru FCO
If your test isn’t accepted here before boarding your flight you won’t board

That said, you’ll be fine
If your airlines has a travel ready section or uses Verifly app then upload all your documents and you are good to go

I am in Italy now. My test did not have a QR code and it was accepted immediately by the Verifly app.
