There are lots of restrictions being lifted as of April 1 and I was hoping the tour entrance from the Sistine Chapel was reopened. Does anyone know? Thanks!
This statement is still on the The Roman Guy's website:
"* As of June 23rd, 2021, the Vatican has closed the "licensed guide entrance" to St Peter’s Basilica for all tour companies and tour guides. Don't worry, we still visit the amazing Basilica! However, until this message is removed, we cannot enter St. Peter's Basilica without lines for security. Hopefully, this changes very soon!"
And this on Walks of Italy's site for "Pristine Sistine":
"Previously, many Vatican tours visited St Peter's Basilica. Following the pandemic however, routes and access have changed, making this impossible."
I noticed as well that most combo Vatican Museums + Basilica tours have been removed from some other tour company websites I checked, such as City Wonders. So no, not open.
Was not available 3 days ago. 30 minute line for security to enter Vatican after museum tour. This was early entry $$ tour through the museum. No shortcut to Vatican. Guide said @ 30 minutes pretty typical

I think you mean St Peter's Basilica here?
The Sistine Chapel is IN the Vatican Museums
