We are doing another longish stay in Venice this fall. I have decided it is time for us to take a day trip to Vicenza - we’ve already done Padua and Verona day trips on prior Venice visits.
We have mixed luck with solo day trips - one one hand, we get to stick to our own schedule and see what we want. But that always comes at a cost of a fair amount of GPS-walking/being lost and so we end up missing things I am CERTAIN we are going to be able to find when I plan these trips from the US.
So I’m pondering a guide for Vicenza - someone who can point out all of the hidden Palladian architecture I’m so excited about and give us a little history of some of the buildings.
Has anyone used a guide there? Thanks!!
