Hi, We'll be in Rome this June. I understand that it is very hot and we are looking at booking an airconditioned room. Does all 4 star rating meant they have aircondition? Thanks.
May or may not. Need to check the hotel specifically. Star ratings are not based on air conditioning IIRC. Edwin
Edwin is right. I would email or call just to be sure.
And some places have AC available for an extra charge.
...and don't just ask if they HAVE it. Ask if is operational/functioning/not broken and also ask if it will be turned on during the time you will be there. AC is not provided 365 days a year. Some hotels even turn the AC off at night - which I think is a dirty trick and should not be tolerated!
Tim is right there also. I think you would be good to go in June but be sure to confirm it. Haven't run into it being turned off at night though (yet!).
