Do I need a covid test if I have a booster?

Traveling to Italy from US with 3hr layover in Munich. At this point I'm unclear if I need a covid test...I've had the booster. This is what my United travel ready center says, "Certificate of completing full course of Covid-19 vaccination at least 14 days and at the most 270 days before departure unless holding a booster dose" This sounds like I don't need to take a covid test??

No covid test required for “fully vaccinated” arrivals. If you have 3 shots on your CDC card, that is full vaccination (3rd being booster, with last one no more than 270 days and no less than 14 days before travel). The pre-arrival testing requirement ended in Italy on March 1, so you may have read about it earlier when planning trip. The CDC card and N95 type mask are required everywhere. Have it at hand. Masks are easy to find here if you need more. Any traveler who is not vaccinated has a much more difficult journey and should get vaccinated asap.

My booster was given Oct 26 and my travel date is April 27-May 16. So if I'm understanding correctly, I will not need a covid test at all before leaving since my booster will have been given only 187 from travel date. Thank you all for your patience, I get so stressed between this and the dPLF form

270 days is 9 months approx. You only have a 6-month gap since your booster. No problem. Note also, rules keep changing, becoming more lenient as conditions improve. March 31 is next time to check. Each airline seems to have links to what is required at your destination. If an additional requirement is needed by a country with a connecting flight, then you’ll be told.

From the way I read the United travel ready post, you are good to go without a covid test as you have had a booster. The 270 day covid test rule applies to those who have only had two doses. The key wording is “unless holding a booster dose”.

Thanks again everyone, I just needed the reassurance because of the layover in Munich versus directly to Italy.
