Does anyone know if the boats and hydrofoils that leave from Molo Beverello in Naples heading for Capri stop first in Sorrento? Or do they all go directly to Capri without stopping in Sorrento? I am travelling, with luggage, from a hotel in Naples (located near the docks) to Sorrento in a week or so. I have looked at the websites of various carriers, and among them all can find only one direct connection between Naples and Sorrento listed, at 6:25 p.m., yet Rick Steves and other guidebooks say there are plenty of direct connections.

boats to Capri are direct---the boat to Sorrento runs about every two hours----9-11-1-3-5

Thanks for the advice.
Paul, after a few false starts I was able to locate the schedule you are referring to on the Alilauro website. In Italian, but easy to understand.
Linda, groundedtravel.com brought up the same schedule, in English, and another option.
Very please to know boats run directly between Naples & Sorrento so regularly. But being Italy, I suppose it would be smart to confirm the schedule once there.
