There are many discount stores in the US such as TJMaxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, etc. Wondering if any of you know of stores similar to these in Rome or Florence.
I know there are designer outlets outside of the cities but wondering if you know of any affordable shopping in the city

We found a used clothing shop in Rome between Largo Argentina and the Vittoriano. Not exactly what you're asking for, though. As for "affordable", the exchange rate isn't exactly helping that these days. Happy travels.

I'm afraid this won't help you on this trip, but in the future, there are huge sales during the entire month of July.
