Hey! We're taking a group of 8 to Italy in March. We'll be in Rome, Florence and in Tuscany. Would love some wonderful places to eat! In 2003, we ate at Il Ritrivo in Florence - our best meal. The next year it had changed owners (the chef). Would love to know where he went. Thanks.

I just got back from Rome and tried one of Rick Steves' recommend restaurants, Il Gabriello, and ordered "Claudio's Extravaganza." Well worth the 45 Euros per person cost.

In Florence, check out Il Latini, Via dei Palchetti 6r (www.illatini.com). It is fabulous!
