Digital copy of Covid card

Hi. I’m wondering if anyone knows how to get a digital copy of my Covid card. I currently have the regular white cdc card but was told I need digital to travel to Spain and Italy. Any info would be helpful. Traveling in 2 weeks. Thanks in advance

You don't need that. There is a form to fill out for entry to Spain, here is the link.

This will confirm your vaccination status, but of course carry the card with you as well.
I am counting on the airline to assist with this process as well--guiding you to upload your CDC card--I maybe proved wrong on that, but that is my understanding.
Others can advise on Italy process during month of May.

If you live in New Jersey, Utah or Minnesota you can use the Docket app. It’s a digital record of all your immunizations. I have it on my phone.

You can not use this in Europe.

Thank you I’ve tried the docket app but it’s not working for me. I’ll just carry my card anyway if you’re sure I don’t need digital. Thx

You do need to complete a digital form for entry to the country that proves your vaccination status. It is just not the "EU digital form."
Which airline are you flying? They should have portal for you to complete for checkin.

Flying Iberia and did the beginning of the form but has to be finished I think 72 hrs before departure.

Could you list the source of your information? I am going to Italy soon and although I have already filled out the PLF form, it is now not required. I am bringing my white CDC card - nothing digital.

As of May 1, “ Lastly, Passenger Locator Forms (PLFs), which all travellers were previously required to complete ahead of their journey, are no longer required for entry into Italy.”

https://www.esteri.it/en/ministero/normativaonline/focus-cittadini-italiani-in-rientro-dall-estero-e-cittadini-stranieri-in-italia/

“ Starting 1 May, for entry into Italy it will be enough to present the COVID-19 Green Certificate (vaccination certificate, recovery certificate, or negative molecular or antigen test), or any other equivalent vaccination certificate recognized.”

Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is no longer required to enter Italy since May 1.
Vaccination card (CDC card) still required to enter the country (enforced by airlines before boarding) but no longer required to enter indoor venues (museums, restaurants, etc.) as of May 1.
The only requirement of importance now is that FFP2 or N95 masks are still required in Italy aboard public transportation (including air travel) and in certain public indoor venues (mainly theaters, cinemas).
The other requirement (imposed not by Italy, but by the US Center for Disease and Control Prevention, or CDC) is that you must show proof of negative covid test within one day before boarding the airplane back to the US. That means that if you fly back to the US on a Friday, you must take a rapid test before boarding anytime the day before on Thursday. Rapid tests are widely available at Italian pharmacies for approximately 20 euro. Airports also provide that service for about the same price, but apparently there might be long lines that might delay your check in process.

I’ve been in Italy since April 23 and have not ever been asked to show my CDC card.

I uploaded it to my Travel Ready section on United site and that was it.
Nobody at airport or immigration at FCO, hotel, restaurants, museums etc has asked for it.
Requirement ended May 1 for entrance to indoor venues here.

Bring it anyway. the original CDC card, not a digital version (won’t work here) and not a photocopy

ETA just wanted to add that even though masking no longer required in restaurants , stores, etc…pretty much everywhere we have entered the employees/ clerks/ waitstaff are still masking.
Masking on trains, in taxis, etc still required and enforced
We’ve been in Rome, Orvieto, Florence, Pienza and other small towns in Tuscany and Lucca so far.

Many people still masking indoors and even outdoors.
I’m glad.

Sylvia. I was able to get on docket after a call to them. They were very helpful. But I guess I can’t use it in EU but will be helpful at home.
