Difference between Village Italy and Best of Tuscany tour...too much the same?

Last year's inaugural tour, Best of Tuscany, sound's wonderful, but we have already done the Villages of Italy tour, and so I am wondering for those who have taken BOTH tours if there is too much overlap of places. Lucca and Sienna are on both tours, so would we just be repeating what we have already seen?

I absolutely LOVED the Villages tour, but there are too many places to go if it is really just a redo of the same tour...(we have already been to several other Italian cities, so no need to suggest those places, it's the new experiences in Tuscany that intrigues me)

My wife and I have done both. There were 3 cities in common between the two, Sienna, Florence and Luca but the total experience was different. We did them 5 years apart so it didn't really matter, we had a great time on both.

I agree with Steve, I’ve done both and the experiences are very different. And in those big cities, there are always things you didn’t get to see the first time around. The first two places we stayed (after Florence) were wonderful. I highly recommend the Tuscany tour!

Thank you for your confirmations that we will love the tour. You both convinced us and we're now booked for October of 2024...perfect timing since the new tour schedule just came out!!!

We have not done the Tuscany tour but we did do Village Italy twice and enjoyed both times very much. Nothing wrong with returning to some of the same places.
