Difference between Venere.com and Priceline no bidding

Hi,We're looking at accomodation for Rome- June 18 to June 23. Because of the heat , we would like to be centrally located so it's not too far from the sights yet we can go back to rest in the early afternoon to avoid the intense heat. I am looking at Navona area and it seems that Priceline no bidding price is competitive too perhaps not as much choice of hotel as Venere. Thanks.
