We're planning to travel to this region soon - we've just read of the torrential rains near Ancona (September 16, 2022) that have caused flooding and loss of life. There are YouTube videos of flooded street in Sengiallia and Cantiano.
If you're planning to travel there soon, check in with your hotel to make sure they are still in operation.
