Deruta

I looked up the famous, from the 15th century, Deruta Grazia and it is open 9-1 daily, later times by appointment. We bought quite a few of their beautiful pieces.

We arrived last week around three and they were open.

Yes, most of them close for “la pausa” from 1-3 (roughly). Much of Umbria conforms to that and it’s one of the things you do have to work around.

I’d add FIMA to your list as well. There’s one more that I love that I’ll have to dig up for you.

Note that most places can ship things home for you and a reasonable price. Both Grazia Deruta and FIMA boxed and packed everything very securely.
