departing from Venice airport(VCE)

My flight from VCE-LAX will depart at 09:55. The Alilaguna Boat(orange line from Rialto) arrives at the airport 07:14. Will this give me ample time to walk from the pier, check my bag, go through security, and get to my gate?
If not, I know that a water taxi would be more expensive, but there are 3 of us, so I guess we could split it?
Any advice?

That is not a international or direct flight so two plus hours is more than adequate.

Venice airport is not that big. 2 hours is plenty of time.

There are no flights to LAX from VCE, so your first leg must be an intra European flight.
I see a LH flight to Munich at 9:55am, and at 10am one AF flight to CDG and also at 10 one Alitalia to FCO. So you must be flying one of the above.

Two hours is way too much for an intra EU flight IMO, that is the equivalent of a domestic flight in the US. I generally don't show up earlier than 90 min prior to departure for any intra EU flight, including out of the much larger and chaotic FCO, and always had time to spare.

The walk from the dock to the terminal is long (maybe 10-15 min), however I think they recently installed those rolling moving walkways that you typically see in airports, so that might expedite the walk. People who have used VCE recently may want to confirm that.

EDIT.
I found an article confirming that last November they upgraded the dock area at VCE with additional piers and also installed a moving walkway.

It is about 1/3 of a mile, or 1/2 a km. Sounds like they have a moving walkway now, but you can never completely rely on them being operational. The bus from Piazzle Roma drops you right at the airport entrance.
