Delta Airlines App for Italy

I have recently booked a trip to Italy that departs May 28, 2022. I wanted to start uploading documents (CDC vaccination card) and it wouldn't let me. It said my trip was too far away and to come back later. How far out will it allow me to enter anything? Can anyone with recent Delta experience tell me the ins and outs of navigating that area of the Delta website? Thanks

Interesting...I was just trying to scan my passport into United's app and it won't take it either. I can't get to the CDC scan before the passport. Maybe it's too early for end of August flight?

Man, you guys are real plan-ahead types, aren't you? The only reason I have my first-hotel booking line up for late April is that there seem to be some real bargains available right now.

Yes, it's likely too early. I traveled to Italy on Delta in November and was unable to load docs until about 14 days prior.

We have a trip planned to England in May on Delta. My understanding is you can upload documents beginning 30 days ahead of departure.

Thanks to all for the replies. I will stop obsessing over getting my checklist completed until 30 days prior to departure. I haven't flown Air France in years. I was on a flight from Houston to Paris back in 2009 or 2010 and there was no AC the entire 8-9 hours. It was miserable and, without the need for additional evidence, wrote off Air France forever. For the last dozen years we have been Delta and KLM only.

January 2020 was the last time I was overseas so anything related to the new travel requirements is always welcome information.

Thanks again!

What Aimee said goes for Passenger Locator Forms also. Keep in mind that the current rules may change by the time of your trip. I returned from Italy last week; the airline app was quite helpful and keeps a "checklist" of your requirements.
