Deciding on best time to visit Sicily

Between those two months it really doesn’t matter. I’d choose late April into early May if it was my trip; not too cool or warm.

We were there this year April 10 to 23rd and had lovely weather.

Have you seem the series "The Leopard". It takes place with the rise of Garibaldi and the end of the age of Aristocrats in Sicily. Spectacular scenery and facinating charactors! It did show August was too Hot!

My visit was 2 weeks, late April to early May. Weather was warm and wildflowers were incredibly abundant, skies were blue and there weren't hoards of tourists yet.

I would think that April, after Easter (5th) is probably gonna be slightly cheaper and less crowded. The weather will be a little cooler if that impacts certain activities
