Heard on the news tonight that it's 5 Feet of water flooding the city today....tourists and locals getting around only by boat, even in St Marks!!

Pete thanks for posting those photos( link) they are amazing..can'twait till my child gets up tomorrow morning to show them to her, I had told her while we were there this past summer, that Venice has flooded , but I don't think she could visulize it. Those are really shocking.
Anyone going, whether it is in flood when you go, take rubber boots, just in case!
