Hi there,
My fiance and I are taking our honeymoon in Italy in a couple months. Here's my question: We are flying from Rome to return to the United States, but have to switch planes in Paris. We only have about an hour to do this, and I'm wondering if we need to get our passports stamped and go through customs in Paris. Thanks!
Do you know which terminals you fly in and out of? And I'm assuming you're flying through Charles De Gaulle?
Hi there,
Yes. It is CDG. We have to get from Terminal 2F to 2E in about 45 minutes. Thanks!
No problem. They're right next to each other. No passport control.
Since Italy and France are part of the Schengen Treaty, there is no passport control at that point. One hour is a pretty tight connection time. If you are checking in bags, make sure that your bags are checked through to your point of arrival in the US. This way, you won't have to claim your bags and check them again in Paris. The airline for your Rome-to-Paris flight should do this without asking, but make sure.
