I can't find a complete train trip online from Bolzano to Varenna on Lake Como. I can get to Milano but...What should I do?

According to RS book once you get to Milan Centrale station. - check the local trains to Sondrio or Leccotirano. It could even say Tirano. It is approx. 1 hour. DO NOT take the train to TORINO.

The train to Varenna from Milan is operated by a private railway, Trenord. They do not link their schedules to Deutsche Bahn, so they are not listed there. Use the www.trenitalia.it "Tutti I Treni" section. Just put in Bolzano and Varenna-Esino as the beginning and end points. You can also get the Ternord schedules at www.trenord.it.
