Are you asking about DST in the US or in Europe? It can be different there. In October 2008 we were in Italy and DST ended in Italy before we came home and ended in the US after we came home.

This year DLST starts on March 14 at 2:00 am in the US.
Just verified that in Italy DLST starts March 28.
