Daylight Saving Time, Italy

For anyone traveling Italy very soon, it might be worth mention that Daylight Saving Time starts there at 2:00 AM on March 25th.

Could be a good thing to know if one has a train or tour to catch early on Sunday morning. :O)

It is the same for all European countries except Russia, Belarus and Iceland which don't have Summer Time. The rule is defined by the EU, and non-EU countries also follow the same rule for simplicity.

Summertime starts 02:00 CET last Sunday in March.
Summertime ends 03:00 CEST last Sunday in October.

Yep. Just put the notice here 'cause I've seen posts from travelers who will be in Italy 'round about that time, and I haven't been browsing many of the other forums lately.
