We are at palazzo catalani in Soriano nel Cimino. We've driven from Siena and are here for two new nights before Rome What day trip would you recommend within an hour?

- Orvieto (lovely, lively, certainly not undiscovered)
- Tuscania (small, quiet hilltown; might be too untouristy for you)
- Viterbo (walled city that doesn't get a lot of foreign tourists; not as polished-for-tourists as Orvieto. Villa Lante outside town has nice gardens)
- Bolsena (on the lake of the same name)
